Recording Management (Beta)

You can now manage your recordings and videos from the Recordings tab on your course page. This feature is currently in Beta, but you now have the ability to create Modules, edit and trim videos, amongst other features.

 

Recording Management Button

In the recordings tab, you'll spot a big blue button on the left called "Recording Management". As you record throughout your course, your recordings will build up here and might be labelled as Trainer, Training Room, or Participant.

If you're sure you've created recordings but they haven't appeared yet, just click the refresh button next to the "Recording Management" button.

Clicking that button will open a new pop-up screen.

From there, you can edit a video by clicking the pencil icon on it.

 

To create Modules, click the (+) icon underneath the Modules box.

Once you've created your modules, you can start moving videos into them. You can drag and drop videos,

 

 

or you can manually assign them when editing a video.

Video Editing

There's also some basic video editing available. If you were idle or had trouble locating a file during your recording – and you'd rather not show that in your video – just click the scissors icon on the video to do a bit of trimming.

 

This opens an Edit/Cut Recording window where you can scrub through and cut your video. Once you're happy with your edits, process the video to render your changes.
